Last February 29, Blogger announced that they are now available in Filipino. Since Filipino blogging community is growing every minute, it is now the right time for Blogger to support our language.

There are still lots of bloggers using blogspot. Blogspot is such a great platform for newbie blogger and even for advanced and professional bloggers. We know that it is owned by Google and some says that if you use blogspot you got a higher chance of being top in Google search engines. So no need to do some SEO tools for your blog because it is more prioritize by Google in indexing and pinging. But have you noticed that your title tags are kinda not SEO friendly? There’s a secret for it to be SEO friendly and your chance in topping the search engine will be doubled.

First, locate this code in your Blogger template:

Second, replace the old code with this SEO friendly code:

That will change the header title of your Blogger blog and will make it SEO friendly. This is very recommended for every Blogger user that wants to optimized their blog. So now, you will have the double chance of getting rank in the search engines.

OpenID commenting is now open for all Blogger blogs. This means that your friends and readers can leave authenticated comments on your blog using their blog URLs from OpenID-enabled services such as WordPress.com, LiveJournal, and AOL Journals, or with their AOL/AIM accounts.

After the announcement of Blogger a week ago about their new comment system, they have now these OpenID commenting just like what LiveJournal has. This is more secure and to avoid spams. (more…)
